Translation for government bodies, NGOs, rights groups, sports federations and EU institutions — from our Ireland office, across the UK, EU and EEA.
Request a quoteEnglish and Irish are both official languages of the State, and Irish has full status as an official language of the EU. Roughly one in seven residents speaks another language at home. That share has grown quickly over the past decade, mainly through Polish and Portuguese speakers and, more recently, arrivals from Ukraine and South Asia.
Our Ireland office, in Cork, serves and coordinates work across Ireland, the UK, the wider EU and the EEA states beyond it.

Government departments and public bodies translate under two sets of obligations: the Official Languages Act at home, and EU business that needs the same material in other member-state languages. The work includes legal documents and treaties, policy papers, public communications, training manuals and regulatory filings.
Three of Ireland's best-known development and humanitarian organisations are Concern Worldwide, Trócaire and GOAL. Their field reports, donor proposals, training materials and programme documentation move constantly between headquarters and the countries where they work. Front Line Defenders and the Irish sections of several international rights groups publish advocacy reports, campaign material and testimony, where the exact wording matters.
Eurofound, the EU's research agency, is based in Dublin and publishes reports and stakeholder communications that circulate across the Union. Dublin is also the headquarters of World Rugby, whom we have cooperated with.

The UK hosts international secretariats that draft in English for a global readership, including the International Maritime Organization and the Commonwealth Secretariat, as well as several major rights and advocacy organisations.
Its population has changed quickly. The foreign-born share rose from around 9% in 2004 to 19% in 2024, and dedicated resettlement routes have opened for people from Ukraine, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. Public services and the organisations supporting these communities need information in languages beyond English.
For IGOs and advocacy organisations in the UK, we translate policy papers, governance documents and stakeholder communications. Our Ireland office shares a time zone and a working language with the UK, so UK projects run on the same working day as Irish ones.
We have supported numerous UK organisations even before opening our Ireland office and their overseas subsidiaries, primarily in Asia:

Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg produce policy and legislative documentation in all of the EU's official languages, and Irish public bodies work with that output directly through EU-level cooperation. We translate policy and legislative documentation for EU bodies and national government offices implementing EU law. Vienna hosts the IAEA, UNODC, UNIDO and the OSCE, and Bonn hosts a cluster of UN bodies, including the UN climate secretariat.
Around 1.5 million people moved from one EU country to another in a single recent year. They need public information, services and documentation in their own languages, in whichever member state they now live.
For UN bodies, IGOs and government bodies across the EU, we translate policy papers, regulatory documents, training material and stakeholder communications for audiences in several countries at once.
Other organisations we have supported with language solutions prior to opening our Ireland office:

Geneva hosts the UN's European headquarters, more than 40 other international organisations and several hundred NGOs. For the UN bodies, IGOs and NGOs based there, we translate policy documents, technical guidelines, programme reports and public information content.
Switzerland is also where much of world sport is governed. The International Olympic Committee and the Court of Arbitration for Sport are based in Lausanne, alongside around 25 other international federations, with FIFA in Zurich and UEFA in Nyon. For sports federations, we translate statutes, codes of conduct, compliance material and policy papers. We have been supporting FIFA's Asian office in Kuala Lumpur with our Malaysian office since 2014.
We have supported numerous Swiss organisations even before opening our Ireland office, with work primarily in Asia:
Send us the documents and the deadline, and we will come back with scope, timeline and price against the actual material.
